I know that once indie comics start cropping up in crossover I'll have a place for Avery, but I wanted another char in DC instead of just Joker.
Jasper Zipes (quackquack

*A toned down Kilroy. Still very much into pop culture (especially tv, he loves his goddamned 80 billion channels) but doesn't get as excited and isn't as demanding.
*Afraid of fire since his house burned down (LA fires?).
*Was something of a martian child. Didn't like other kids/didn't think he belonged with them and basically kept to himself
*Now that he's an adult he's more prone to making friends, especially since he understands what J'onn went through.
*Really thinks he's 90% J'onn. Jasper doesn't see the difference between them except for the green skin.
*Has erratic powers. When he was a kid he phased through a wall and it scared him so badly he decided he'd never do it again. Sometimes he accidentally morphs features of other people, but hasn't been able to do a full transformation. VERY mildly telepathic and doesn't like the power anyway since he finds it intrusive.
*Despite the fact that he grew up an outsider, Jasper holds friends to a high regard and enjoys having a group of people he can rely on.
*Green Peace makes him lol a little bit because the name seems repetitive.
*Vegetarian because he THINKS that ONCE he ACCIDENTALLY had a conversation with a duck when he was a kid. It basically was along the lines of "so i hurd u like bread crumbs"
*Pensive and sometimes a little worried about things
*Dropped out of college because he didn't know what to get a degree in- is currently working for a small company that grows plants on their roof (I saw it once in a Japanese horror movie and thought it was a cool idea).
*Loves plants.
